My Photographic Journey
I began my journey in photography in 1969 while still in college. I visited a friend's apartment and he had a cramped darkroom (film at that time) in his closet. We squeezed into the closet and what I saw sparked the creative juices in me and amazed me. While I stared at a blank white sheet of paper in a tray of liquid an image began to appear. It was magic! The thought of being able to stop time and transfer that moment onto a piece of paper to view was empowering. This was during the riots and war protests of the late 60's so I had plenty of subject matter right there on campus in front of me! Still to this day my favorite photo was taken during one of those times on campus. After that I never looked back.
For the next almost 50 years, I had my day jobs to support our family but the passion was photography. I ran the gamut from weddings, newspaper freelance, stills and portraits and selling prints of my work.
In 2008, I saw a new process online that stunned me. I knew I had to learn it and become proficient with it. Now 12 years later I shoot exclusively with this process and it meshes perfectly with Real Estate and Architecture. I have also added the flexibility of a drone to capture the eyeballs and hold them for listings, promotional ads, builder's homes at all stages of development and virtually anything Real Estate including video.
